Intermediate 🥉 (2024-25)

This class is for dancers who have completed at least two years of Irish dance at District Academy, have mastered basic soft shoe reels, light jigs and slip jigs, are working on fast-speed hard shoe dances (treble jig & hornpipe), and are ready to learn more challenging material! Intermediate Level dancers are eligible to enroll in JUNIOR TROUPE (add-on), held right after their core class on Mondays, in order to learn performance skills and participate in special guest performance opportunities throughout the year! STUDIO PASS SAVINGS: Dancers in this level may opt for STUDIO PASS YOUTH - BRONZE 🥉 - a program bundle providing significant savings as opposed to purchasing classes “a la carte” - includes Junior Troupe and all drop-in classes, as well as other exclusive perks. Prerequisite: Shamrock I & II level; at least 2 years experience Shoes Required: Soft Shoes and Hard Shoes Material Covered: All Beginner I & II soft shoe steps + advancing hard shoe skills (traditional / fast speed TJ + Hornpipe steps) Competitive Level: Advanced Beginner / Novice (Optional)
