Movement Theatre Improvisation (Workshop) - Ages 16+

This playful yet disciplined form of improvisation is based on the work of Ruth Zaporah, whom the presenter, Liz Monnier, studied with on several occasions. Using movement, sound, and language, we delve into unexplored territories that allow us to express and expand ourselves in ways we never thought possible. Through forms and frameworks, we learn that improvisation is not “doing anything you want,” but rather choosing with intent and understanding how you are going to participate with what is going on around you.
