For‌ ‌pre‌ ‌teens‌ ‌through‌ ‌adults,‌ ‌this‌ ‌class‌ ‌is‌ ‌a‌ ‌wonderful‌ ‌way‌ ‌to‌ ‌lengthen‌ ‌and‌ ‌strengthen‌ ‌muscles,‌ ‌improve‌ ‌posture,‌ ‌build‌ ‌a‌ ‌strong‌ ‌core,‌ ‌improve‌ ‌your‌ ‌focus‌ ‌and‌ ‌increase‌ ‌your‌ ‌stress‌ ‌management‌ ‌abilities.‌ ‌Using‌ ‌the‌ ‌classic‌ ‌Pilates‌ ‌sequence,‌ ‌students‌ ‌will‌ ‌use‌ ‌their‌ ‌own‌ ‌body‌ ‌weight‌ ‌to‌ ‌activate‌ ‌their‌ ‌cores‌ ‌and‌ ‌challenge‌ ‌their‌ ‌muscle‌ ‌groups,‌ ‌using‌ ‌slow,‌ ‌precise‌ ‌movements‌ ‌accompanied‌ ‌by‌ ‌breath‌ ‌control.‌ ‌Exercises‌ ‌focus‌ ‌on‌ ‌quality‌ ‌over‌ ‌quantity,‌ ‌as‌ ‌well‌ ‌as‌ ‌precision,‌ ‌to‌ ‌sculpt‌ ‌long,‌ ‌lean‌ ‌muscles.‌ (‌** For this class, students will need: a yoga mat or towel)
