Acting Lab: Workshop Intensive (Grade 8 - Grade 12)

7-week intensive is designed for teens who want a deep dive into various aspects of acting. This workshop is appropriate for 8th - 12th Grade, and great for performers who have participated in productions or school drama programs. Each week features a focused workshop exploring advanced acting tools through weekly themes including physicality, archetypes, film techniques, line delivery, dramatic expression, strategic pauses, comedic timing and delivery, and self-tapes. These elements will be examined and experimented with in greater depth across multiple sessions, helping you integrate new techniques into your acting skills, auditions, and performances. You’ll strengthen your physical presence, master dramatic and comedic choices, sharpen your timing and pauses, and gain confidence with self-taping and on-camera skills. Through hands-on exercises and direct coaching from experienced teachers, this intensive workshop lab will foster individual growth for the teen ready to take their acting to the next level... and have serious fun while doing it.
