Hip Hop

Ages: 10+, or by permission Requirement: soft athletic clothes, sneakers (clean, not street shoes, any design) Learn popular party dances, choreography and how to improvise/cypher in a dance circle! Intermediate hip hop warm ups, steps, combinations and choreography, including brief histories of steps. Street dance styles, including basic beginner breaking, primarily to hip hop and pop music. “Old school” and “new school” variation Dance Recital: May 17-19. Dress Rehearsal: May 15.
