Elite Acro I

Ages: 9+ Requirement: soft dance clothes (close-fitting), foot undies or acro socks, Students encouraged to bring/purchase their own portable, personal acro mat. Hair must be pulled back off the face. Technical floor acrobatics combined with jazz dance. All students must have taken acro or gymnastics in the past and have strong knowledge of beginner acro tricks (fwd/back rolls, straddle rolls, bridge, kick-up). Intermediate / Advanced strengthening, stretching, and conditioning to build core strength for floor tricks, such as, creative cartwheels, hand/head/chest/shoulder inversions, walk-overs, handsprings, leaps, turns. Dance Recital: May 17-19. Dress Rehearsal: May 15.
