Intermediate Acro & Jazz

Ages: 7-12 Requirement: leotard, jazz shoes. Students encouraged to bring/purchase their own portable, personal acro mat. Hair must be pulled back off the face. Intermediate jazz dance techniques, steps, terminology, combinations and choreography, as well as intermediate level acro tricks and tumbling, strengthening and stretching. Jazz is a fun style of dance that first emerged with the jazz age of music… a technical style that combines modern pop culture with both historical jazz soul and Broadway theatrical styles!
