This class explores the principles of dance composition including creativity, movement invention, choreographic structuring and the development of analytical skills as applied to dance. Class concentrates on exploring composition through improvisation; assigned movement studies; active engagement in a critical evaluation process; techniques needed for the creation of a group composition. Dancers will create their own piece for the spring show!
