JMM Dance Co. Youth Dance Company

The JMM Dance Co. Youth Dance Company is a pre-professional performance program for dedicated dancers who are passionate about performing and committed to growing their technical skills, artistry, and confidence. Dancers receive training in multiple dance styles while learning choreography, stage presence, teamwork, performance quality, and leadership. Company members perform throughout the semester at community events, festivals, showcases, and special engagements while representing JMM Dance Co. in the community. This program is designed for students who are ready to make a commitment to consistent training and performance. Audition Requirements Students should have previous dance experience and demonstrate: Basic dance technique and movement quality Ability to learn choreography quickly Musicality and rhythm Positive attitude and willingness to learn Respect for instructors and teammates Commitment to attending rehearsals and performances Auditions include: Warm-up Across-the-floor progressions Short choreography combination Performance evaluation No solos or prepared routines are required.
