ABS: Abs, Barre, and Stretch! Cross training is important when your body is taking part in a sport as strenuous as Irish Step Dancing. This class is designed to gain more core strength and stability, which is important as your strong growing bodies leap through the air. Ballet barre is important to stretch and strengthen the legs, in hopes of conditioning turn out and strengthening the feet. And of course, it is important to stretch the body out, before and after dancing, to prevent tightness and possible injury.
