Introduction to Movement (Ages 6-7)

Gary Reed has been teaching dance at BDC for over 20 years. This phenomenal class uses concepts of brain development ("Brain Dance") to teach rhythm, body awareness, patterning, coordination and basic modern dance steps. The class aims to encourage a child's love of dance while teaching them about the structure and culture of dance class. Required classroom attire is a black long sleeved leotard and black tights. Students will share what they have learned at the end of the year performance: Tuesday June 25, 2019 at 7pm (Dress Rehearsal) and Friday June 28, 2019 at 7pm (Performance).
