Dancers will learn and practice tap and ballet techniques while also learning the songs, stories and choreography from the great Broadway shows and musicals as well as the stories from the famous classical ballets. They will learn the 5 positions of the feet and arms, a dancer’s correct posture, finger positions, pliés, tendus, chassés, early jumps, basic coordinations and musical phrasing.
