Ballet in the Air, or Aerial, will develop a student’s strength, flexibility, fitness and muscular endurance through an introduction to the exciting art of aerial silks. The class begins with stretching and strengthening exercises. Students will learn safety, strength, proper body form and vocabulary. Basic to more advanced skills will be taught, such as wrist locks, foot locks, and basic wraps while in the air. Aerial silks are empowering and fun while building important skills like concentration, coordination, teamwork, and confidence.
